Before her residency, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Cornell in 1999-2000. She joined the faculty at Cornell after completing her residency in 2003. She trained at Cornell University from 2000-2003 in veterinary ophthalmology where she worked in both the small and large animal hospitals on small, exotic and large animal species including dogs, cats, horses, cows, birds, alpacas, reptiles, small mammals, goats, sheep, and other exotic species.
